This week has been amazing! We had Mission Leadership Council in
Scarsdale! It was awesome! We had it a week early because we are
having a general authority come tomorrow! In leadership council we
talked about all of the miracles that we have been experiencing, and
it's not just us or even just our zone, our whole mission has been
doing amazing work! It all started from our training on faith from
President Morgan. We have all started to truly put our trust in
Heavenly Father and let him guide our missionary work. We have seen
how we can do so much more if we let him take over.
Last night we had an amazing lesson! Two of our investigators Luisa
and Rachel have been doing super awesome. We taught them the
restoration last week and Luisa had a super hard time accepting that
there could be prophets today and how they are chose and all of that.
So yesterday we decided to share a talk from conference from President
Monson. We first thought of his talk from April conference, but then I
was lead to his talk from the October 2013 conference. It talks about
how he will never leave us alone. We watched part of it and bore
testimony. We also brought two members who are from their same
country, Ecuador. When we got done bearing testimony one of the
members told a story about how one of her friends got to meet spencer
W kimball before he became prophet and that's how he knew there could
be a prophet chosen by god on the earth today. It was exactly what
Luisa and Rachel needed. Then as the lesson went on, Luisa opened up
and shared something really personal that she is going through and
everyone felt the spirit and everyone was crying and we had just such
an amazing spiritual experience there with them. As we left, our two
members both said, they are so ready to be baptized. We have been so
blessed to be able to be a part of the lords work here in New York!
Lianabel is doing awesome as well! She came to church finally! We were
30 minutes late because we had to go pick her up, but she was still
there and we got to take the sacrament! It was a huge blessing! Luisa
and Rachel were also at church and they had an amazing experience
there as well in the relief society class. Wendy Anderson has had
family over for the long weekend, so she wasn't able to make it, but
we are trying to meet with her tonight! We just have so many people
who are so ready and prepared to accept the gospel at this point in
time. We have been so blessed to be able to be a part of their
conversion! I'm so excited for June!
I hope you all can feel of the excitement of this work of salvation!
It is spreading across the world, and we get to be a part of it! So
let's enjoy it together!
I love you all so much! May God bless you in all that you do!
Love,
Hermana Jessica Bloxham
