This last week was so awesome!!!! We have seen so many miracles in our work and it's just been so much fun!!
Yesterday we had a finding day throughout the whole mission! We took Memorial Day as a day to find as many families as we possibly could! As a mission we wanted to set a finding record of 100 New Investigators in a day, so that's what we set out to do! We not only beat that number, but we absolutely blew it out of the water!!! As a mission we found 237 New Investigators!!! Holy Moly!! Elder Hanks and I found 8 yesterday, our zone found 20, and one of the other zones found 47!! Yesterday was so amazing!!!
I have been filled with so much joy lately and I have been trying to pin point the reason why. I mean obviously because I'm serving a mission, but I've been doing that for a couple three months already! I realized what it was, and it was serving the Lord with all the diligence my heart will render. Giving all my thoughts, time, and efforts over to the Lord has filled my soul with so much joy!! It's pretty amazing to know that for these two years I get the wear the Lords name on my chest, represent him, and testify of him on a daily basis! How great is my calling! The plan that our Father in Heaven has for us is true because the things he asks are for our benefit! We will go through trial but we need to "Dance in the Rain". Then once is rains down even harder, embrace the rain and throw down a slip n' slide!! hahaha!!!! But seriously haha, I love having a knowledge of this wonderful and true gospel because it really blesses families to know that we will be living together on the other side, and that is when we will apply the things we learn here on this earth!
