Elder Bloxham - Focusing on the little things

This last week has been so awesome! So many miracles and it's amazing how these great things come to pass because of the small things we do. Praying throughout the day, studying the scriptures, and serving others. "With small and simple things, great things come to pass." I wanted to focus this letter to the little things that happened this week, which great things were able to happen.

We have been praying for miracles to happen, and the greatest miracle that is going to happen this week is Stevan is getting baptized. He is a perfect example of applying the Atonement. I have literally seen him change. He stands up for what he believes in, he goes and teaches with us, and he's not even a member yet! Haha, but he's just amazing and he feels the spirit working within him. For his baptism this Saturday, his goal is to invite so many people that it will be too full for the Relief Society room, and move it into the Chapel. He is telling everyone, and inviting non members to participate in the service. He is amazing.

The small things that we've been doing is service. We are always looking for opportunities to serve because it just makes us happy! It is so simple to serve people, and it brings immense joy! Simply, just ask your neighbor what you can do to help them, because just as King Benjamin says in Mosiah 2:17 "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God"

It's amazing how morning prayers really change your day. When you roll out of bed just exhausted; the prayer you render gives you the energy to press forward! Heavenly Father is aware of us and the things we do, just ask him to help :)
